Ray Jeacock Artist -
HELLO. I'm Ray Jeacock, and I've been drawing and painting ever since I can remember.
After a career as an artist, designer, illustrator, screenprinter and teacher, I have learnt a range of skills from the variety of work which came my way. Therefore, I don't have a particular style or philosophy about art, I like to experiment with different styles, media and subjects. I like to draw and paint what I see, which can be anything from a simple pencil sketch of a pet, to a landscape of Snowdonia. I also like to work on a larger scale, at least A3 size for portraits, but also up to 'mural' size. The largest I have worked on was stage scenery, up to 25ft. long x 10ft. high.
I work in pencil, graphite, pastel, oil and acrylic paints from my attic studio in Graianrhyd, North Wales.

As a member of the Clwydian Art Society, the Flintshire Visual Arts & Crafts Network and the Ruthin Life Drawing group, I have exhibited at their annual exhibitions, the North Wales Open and various local exhibitions in North Wales.
This is the first website I've set up. Its purpose, hopefully, is to, display my artwork to a wider audience, and maybe gain some sales, or commissions. All the paintings on this site are for sale, unless otherwise stated. If you would like to order one of the pictures, or place a commission, please get in touch via the 'contact' page and I'll give you a quote.
Hope you like what you see. Check back later for updates to the website. There's much more to come!
